The patient came with crooked teeth and some cavities on her frontal teeth. Her main concern was not to change her overall look by having a new smile. She just wants to enhance her smile without major changes.

We maintained the same smile line, curve and length of the teeth but with a perfect natural alignment and color, all in just 2 visits.

The patient came for a smile makeover. He has missing upper lateral incisors, discolored teeth and a gap between the 2 centrals. The challenge was to transform the bulky canines into laterals, and to close the gap without altering the teeth size ratios. A minor laser gum contouring was also performed before the final design.

The patient came with existing composite veneers, and old crowns in the back. There was no respect for any of the smile guidelines (shape, texture, adaptation, esthetics, color...)

A Full mouth rehabilitation (veneers in 20 frontal and crowns on posterior teeth) was performed in 6-7 visits recreating a dream smile.

The patient is living overseas, with extreme teeth discrepancies, discoloration and cavities. She admitted that she never smiles in public without covering her teeth and mouth.

After digital smile design and evaluation of her guidelines, we decided to do 10 upper and 10 lower veneers with vitality preservation of all teeth. No orthodontic treatment done and the final outcome was a perfect smile that she dreamed of, all her life.

The patient wanted to have the best natural smile without any compromise. A digital smile design was performed and mock-up to show the patient her future smile. Her teeth were crooked with an uneven smile line, showing too much of her gum (gummy Smile), and definitely a dark colored shade.

After laser gum contouring, 10 upper and 10 lower porcelain veneers were done in just 2 weeks, recreating all the guidelines of a perfect smile.

The patient had a very aggressive smile showing non-esthetical teeth with dark color. His concern was to maintain the natural look, without showing a big change among his relatives and friends. He was extremely satisfied when his friends told him that he looks much younger but couldn’t really guess what has changed in his features.

The patient wanted a complete smile makeover with a very short time lapse. We designed her smile in a very short period following the patient’s expectations in color, shape and alignment.

The whole treatment was done in 2 visits in 5 days.

The patient did lots of research to find and be convinced with a treatment recreating her smile in the best natural way. She had a straight smile line due to worn teeth, some erosion on teeth surfaces, dark color and some gaps in the lower.

The challenge was to satisfy a very demanding patient with high expectations without compromise on any of the shape, color, smile line or curve of the teeth, and the excellent gum health.

This patient was not happy with her gummy smile and her small teeth. She said that her gum is showing more than her small teeth upon smiling. Her treatment necessitated a team approach consisting of an orthodontist (Dr Edgard Irany) , surgeons( Dr Roger Bassit and Pr Nabil Barakat) and a cosmetic dentist ( Dr Johnny Haddad) Braces with 4 teeth extractions and Laser gingival recontouring along with 8 ceramic Veneers were necessary to give her the smile she always wanted after 18 months of treatment .

The patient has a Lebanese father and an Asian Mother, her crowding was so severe that her canines were completely blocked up and she avoided smiling... Treating her with braces necessitated the extraction of 4 premolars to improve the profile as well as aligning her teeth and correct the gummy smile while relaxing her lips and chin muscles. After 16 months of treatment.

The patient had a bite problem, an overbite with narrow arches and poor teeth alignment with a convex profile. Self ligating brackets and 14 months of treatment with only 10 visits were enough to fix her bite and smile without extracting any tooth.

This case made Dr Edgard win the Best orthodontist award in MENA region in 2010, and it was published in the American textbook of John Beumer “Fundamentals of Implant Dentistry" where Pr Barakat collaborated to the chapter : implants and orthodontics. The patient was told that only a surgery could fix her smile, but with extractions and temporary Anchorage mini-implants and laser gum recontouring the job was completed in less than 2 years. The improvement changed her life (testimonial of the patient).
